BILLY DAVIES

Billy Davies, hailing from Kidderminster, UK, is a seasoned rock musician whose career began in 1964.
With a passion for music that has spanned decades, Billy has graced the stage as the lead guitarist for bands such as 'The Shakedown Sound', featuring JESS RODEN & KEVYN GAMMOND, Gammond was destined to be the guitarist with ROBERT PLANT in several pre and post LED ZEPPELIN bands.
Billy played with many great artists and travelled the country. He was very close to signing a record label in 1966, but chose different paths.
In 1980 he appeared on New Faces.

1980-2000
Billy moved to Tenerife in 90's and performed live most nights as a solo artist and enjoyed living the free loving life in the sun.
Returning from Tenerife Billy formed bands with Martin Price and David Smith and worked right through to 2000s.
2000 - PRESENT
In 2009 Billy battled throat cancer, this stopped his singing for a year, during this time he fell in love with writing again, as he did in the 60s and 70s.
Billy has written and produced many songs, including A456, available to download.
His new music has a country rock style and connects with audiences of all ages, the lyrics reflect struggles Billy and others have gone through, with great reviews and plays in America and Europe.
